3 Favorite photography moments of 2016
(Not necessary my best images but my personal favorites)

I had the great privilege to spend a lot of time with 3 young Great Grey Owls and their parents. Unfortunately one did not make it. It’s hard to tell exactly what happened to it, but my guess is that he got injured falling down from a tree. I like this image because it shows the darkness of the forest and some light hits the owl. f4, 1/200sec, ISO 280

I didn’t expect that. I was photographing eagles and this Red Fox showed up from nowhere. At first he was running around looking for for food. I guess he wasn’t so brave to steel some of the food that was there for the eagles so he decided to jump up on the rock for a better view. I love the pose and the muted colors on this image. f5, 1/500sec, ISO 1600

This was one of those days that there was a very special weather condition. Mist, high clouds, frost and very cold. f11, 1/100sec, ISO 100
